Appearance

Appearance sets your clinic’s branding in Meddesk. You need the System administrator permission to change it.

Open Configuration › Appearance.

There are three images. Each one is saved as soon as you pick the file. You don’t need to select Save changes for them.

Image Where it’s used Files accepted
Logo for light background The top bar of the console and the patient portal in light theme, and the top of every email. PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP, up to 2 MB
Logo for dark background The same places when someone uses the dark theme. If you don’t set it, the light logo is used. PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP, up to 2 MB
Favicon for browser tabs The small icon in the browser tab. PNG, ICO or SVG, up to 512 KB. It must be square, between 32 and 512 pixels wide (SVG has no size limit).

Select Upload to add an image, or Replace to change it. Uploading a new image deletes the old one.

Title is shown in the browser tab and window title of the console. It’s required, and you can enter it in each of your clinic’s languages. The patient portal has its own title, set in Patient Portal settings.

Pick your clinic’s color with the color box. The color code, such as #614ba9, is shown next to it.

  • In the patient portal, the brand color is always used.
  • In the console, it’s only used if you turn on Use as primary color. Then buttons, links and highlights everywhere in the console use your brand color instead of the standard Meddesk color.

Select Save changes to save the title and brand color. You see Appearance updated.
