Your first sign-in

When someone in your clinic creates your user account, Meddesk generates a temporary password for it. They see this password only once, at the moment they create the account, and pass it on to you. The same happens if they reset your password later.

A temporary password only gets you as far as one screen: straight after you sign in with it, Meddesk asks you to replace it. Until you do, you can’t open anything else.

  1. Sign in with your email address and the temporary password.
  2. You arrive at Set a new password. The note You can’t use the app until this is done. reminds you that every other page is locked for now.
  3. In Temporary password, type the temporary password again.
  4. In New password, type the password you want to use from now on. It must be at least 8 characters long.
  5. Type it again in Confirm new password.
  6. Select Update password.

You see Password changed. and the Dashboard opens. You stay signed in.
